Amen with Rabbi Ryan Chaim Silveira

Mon, 08 Apr 2024
Here’s a bio you can use.

Born in New York City in 1990, Rabbi Ryan Chaim Silveira grew up with many medical challenges. Despite what some might consider obstacles, he flourished in his youth. His passion for music led him to study music education and classical voice performance at both Ithaca College and Western Connecticut State University. Although raised in a staunchly Atheistic household, at the age of 24, his soul awakened from its long sleep and he began to return to his Jewish roots, becoming fully observant on the holiest day of that year. Today, Rabbi Silveira is a fully qualified rabbi, beginning to be respected as a master of Jewish law, mysticism, and Chassidic Jewish philosophy.

Sat, 30 Mar 2024
Phoenix (Jenniffer Robinson) and Shay (Chandra Scheschy), aspiring blind filmmakers, share their insights and journey navigating their way into one of the most competitive industries to date. Both found their passion for the fine arts separately at an early age, only to combine their talents later in life to create engaging works, some of which have and would go on to the EDFC (Easterseals Disablility Film Challenge). They also have been towards an entrepreneurial goal of creating a film company called Kryodragon Productions, that will help support and represent the disabled community as well as their own creative pursuits. Coming from completely different backgrounds, Phoenix and Shay show that friendship, teamwork, spirit, and dedication can fuel creativity.
